About
Dr Allan Mekisic is a specialist general sugeon with over 30 years of experience.
Dr Mekisic obtained his MBBS qualifications in Sydney in 1987 and his surgical fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1997. He has worked as a surgeon since 1998 in the Illawarra. He operates at the Wollongong Private Hospital, Shellharbour District Hospital and Wollongong Public Hospital.
He has an interest in breast surgery, laparoscopic surgery, hernia surgery and endoscopy.
Dr Mekisic is a founding member of BreastSurgANZ.
Education
Dr Mekisic obtained his MBBS qualifications in Sydney in 1987 and his surgical fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1997. He has worked as a Surgeon since 1998 in the Illawarra.
