About
Dr Schmidt graduated from the University of Queensland with first class honours and the University Medal before undertaking his surgical residency and a Master of Philosophy at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
His subsequent ENT speciality training saw him rotate through hospitals in South-East Queensland, including 12-months at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, before undertaking further sub-specialty training in head and neck cancer at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in 2023.
He then accepted a second fellowship post in microvascular reconstructive and robotic surgery of the head and neck at London Health Sciences Centre, Ontario, Ca
