Dr Caroline Mathias

Dr Caroline Mathias is a Gynaecologist with an interest in the comprehensive management of complex benign gynaecological conditions, including adenomyosis, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and adnexal pathology. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and has completed Australasian Gynaecological and Endoscopy Surgery society(AGES) training. She has expertise in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery and provides evidence-based, individualised care through a multidisciplinary, patient-centred approach.

Dr Mathias practices privately at Kingswood, Rouse Hill and Frenchs Forest, holds private appointments at Westmead Private Hospital and public appointments within the Nepean Blue Mountains and Central Coast Local Health District. Her advanced surgical training has included international fellowships at Mayo Clinic, Arizona and IFEM Endo, Bordeaux, with a focus on complex pelvic surgery and multidisciplinary endometriosis care.

She maintains an active academic and research profile, including clinical trials and consensus studies focused on patient-reported outcomes, and has received competitive grant funding for the U-ROC trial. She founded the Nepean Gynaecology Laparoscopic Workshop and is actively involved in surgical education and training. She is recognised for her approachable manner, clear communication and collaborative approach to patient care.
