About
Dr Chahaya Gauci is an Australian general surgeon with advanced post-fellowship colorectal training across leading tertiary centres including Royal North Shore Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Born and raised on the Mid North Coast, Chahaya is excited to return home with his wife (also a local!), young son and much-loved Cocker Spaniel. He is pleased to offer subspecialty services across the breadth of colorectal surgery. He continues to be involved in various research activities, teaching and is a conjoint lecturer at UNSW. Chahaya is passionate about ensuring patients understand their condition, treatment and management options, and providing the best possible care to the individual.
Chahaya is consulting privately from Coffs Colorectal with Dr Andrew Sutherland, and via the public general surgery outpatient clinic at Coffs Harbour Health Campus, and is looking forward to meeting his local colleagues. He is always happy to discuss cases via the phone or reach out to him via his rooms.
