Dr Gaik Si Quah is a General Surgeon with expertise in breast cancer surgery, oncoplastic breast surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and general surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and completed two years of subspecialty BreastSurgANZ Post Fellowship Training in breast, endocrine and oncoplastic surgery at Mater Brisbane Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and Melanoma Institute Australia.
Dr Quah has a particular interest in contemporary breast cancer surgery, including oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy, implant-based breast reconstruction and axillary surgery. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based and individualised care, with an emphasis on helping patients understand their diagnosis and make informed decisions about their treatment.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Quah is actively involved in surgical education and research. She holds academic appointments with the University of Notre Dame Australia and the University of Sydney and contributes to research focused on breast cancer outcomes and the quality of surgical care.
Dr Quah consults in Nowra and Milton and operates at Shoalhaven Memorial District Hospital and Nowra Private Hospital, providing specialist breast, endocrine and general surgical care to patients throughout the Shoalhaven and surrounding communities.
