Dr Pun has worked as a psychiatrist for 20 years in both the public and private sector.
Dr Pun is currently the Director of Mental Health at the Mater Hospital, South Brisbane.
Dr Pun is also the lead psychiatrist at the Gender Service, Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital.
Dr Pun is also the Qld RANZCP Director of Advanced Training in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry.
