About
Mr Mitchell Smith completed his medical and surgical training at The University of Melbourne before undertaking orthopaedic training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association across metropolitan and regional centres in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Following completion of his orthopaedic training, Mr Smith undertook a dedicated Robotic-Assisted Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship at NHS Grampian in Aberdeen, Scotland. During this fellowship, he gained extensive experience in primary hip and knee replacement surgery, revision arthroplasty and contemporary reconstruction techniques.
Mr Smith believes that surgical precision is only one component of a successful outcome. Careful planning, clear communication, and a supportive, well-coordinated patient experience are equally important in helping patients navigate treatment and recovery with confidence
